Offa’s Dyke Association – Now Live!

I have really enjoyed working on the website for the Offa’s Dyke Association, newly launched at the beginning of March. They’re a fantastic organisation to work with, and the site has been a fun challenge. I was able to take their existing database of accommodation providers and automatically mark them on digital Ordnance Survey maps, in such a way that the image is generated on the fly and is therefore 100% up to date. If the staff working for the Association make a change, that change is reflected immediately. As a walker myself, I think the new site and accommodation maps are going to be very helpful to the many people interested in Offa’s Dyke; I’ve certainly had some lovely comments so far.

Visit Knighton – Now Live!

Yesterday, we launched the new Visit Knighton website. Mobile friendly, with a modern new look, and letting various members of the local community log in and make changes when they need to without having to refer to a web designer for help. What do you think?

Small Businesses Lacking Websites

There’s some very compelling arguments in this article in favour of getting a website, even for the smallest of business. Almost a fifth of Britain’s small business population – 60% of the smallest UK businesses – still haven’t got a website, according to a survey by web hosting company GoDaddy. It doesn’t have to be daunting, or a major capital investment. Give me a call and you’d be amazed at how reasonable my deals can be.

Visit Knighton

I’m excited to be working with the Knighton and District Tourism Group to revamp their website. They’re looking to make it more responsive, mobile compatible, and they would like to be able to update things themselves without having to wait for a web designer to make an update for them. I’ll be doing this pro bono, since I’ve been on the periphery of the group for some time and would really like to help them succeed however I can. Lending some technical skills seemed to be the perfect option!

They’ve got a fantastic new logo, and it’ll be a really fun project, I think. Watch this space!

Park Farm Retrievers

Another new site published. This was for an existing client, who has multiple strings to their bow. Park Farm Retrievers are an established breeder of golden and labrador retrievers. They’ve got some smashing dogs, and some gorgeous photos; pop along and take a look.

Park Farm Liveries

I’m happy to say that I’ve just made a new site live for Park Farm Liveries. Park Farm are an equestrian livery yard in Quatt, Shropshire, and it has been a delight to work with such beautiful images and with such a helpful client!
